Stay at Theme Park Hotel (Genting)

After we left Malacca... This is our 2nd stop... Genting... I have came here several times but this is the first time I came with my baobei... =p We checked into The Theme Park Hotel... This is my first time staying in this hotel... 

They provided us with a Queen sized bed and a Single sized bed as most of their rooms are fully booked... It seems that Genting is really popular for people to come during weekends...

I find that the price of Hotel Theme Park is reasonable... The room is clean and does not have the "old" smelly feel... The location of the Hotel is very near to the Theme Park, not very far from First World Hotel... If you wish to have fun in Genting's Theme Park, this might be the best hotel as I can see the Theme Park from the room itself... If you are not here for the Theme Park and you do not wake up very early... You might not want to consider this hotel as you will hear the sound of "Theme Park" early in the morning... =o

Stay at Bayview Hotel (Malacca)

This is an impromptu trip to Malacca on 19th July 2012... This my 2nd time coming back to this hotel... The last time I came to this hotel was 3 years ago... The reason why we chose this hotel is because we used to think that the price of the hotel is reasonable and good...

This is the coffee shop which we ever had "butter crab"... They have nice "butter crab"... I had ever tried their hokkien mee... The taste is also nice... The size of the crab they are offering is not as huge compared to what I usually had in Singapore...

I had my favourite curly fries with root beer float from A&W.... =p

The stay in Bayview Hotel is not very pleasant, although I only had a night stay here... Base on my memory, I had very good impression with this hotel... That makes me back to this hotel again... But this time, I find that their room seems to be very old and not very well maintained... It is abit disappointing... >.<

A day at Old Folks Home...

This a very meaningful event that I had participated in during my Beauty Pageant... It is a day at the Old Folks Home... I had prepared a Hokkien Song to present it to the old folks on that day... That is my first ever Hokkien Song I have learnt... 我问天... =p The sound system of the old folks home is not very good... The speaker seems to be "blasting" during the part where I sang slightly loudly...

Farewell Lunch at Blujazz

Just came back from my short trip... I need to start uploading my photos.... =p 

We had my farewell lunch with my colleagues of my department on 12th July 2012 at Blujazz... I have went there several times but this is the first time I sit on this very "old" chair... This old chair do attracts my attention... =p

Blujazz offers Lunch Set which the price is very affordable for office girls like us... Lunch set consist of a soup, main course (choices of fish, chicken & steak), drink (Coffee/ Tea) & dessert...

I ordered this fish fillet set... The taste is only passable... so so for a lunch... The quality of the food is not so fantastic... 

They used to have fish and chips but that really taste horrible... Ever had once... The fish was as hard as a stone... *non-edible... >.<

This is a steak that is ordered by Tanya & David... I don't take beef... so I had never tried before...

This is the chicken chop ordered by Sharmint... I ever tasted once... It is also passable... nothing fantastic about it...

There is a top-up of $1 is required for ordering of Lemon Tea... I am not sure whether is this Lemon tea homemade by them but it does taste like some sort of Homemade Lemon Tea to me... It is still ok la... Not very sweet... The taste of the tea not very strong but neither the lemon taste is strong... The taste is quite light... I still prefer Bedok 85 Food Centre's  Homemade Lemon Tea... =p

Lastly... This is the dessert that comes with the set meal... It is a Oreo Cheesecake with some chocolate fudge topping... The cake is not very cold so you know... The taste is not so good for a cake... They seems to have prepared the food before lunch so that they can handle the lunch crowd asap...

The food in Blujazz is not that fantastic as this is a place where people drinks at night... It is a nice place for hanging out in the night... There are a couple of places for drink at night but I find this place is quite ideal... They do open for Lunch as well... They serve lunch set which is affordable... Quite suitable for people that are feeling hungry during lunch and would like to take some affordable western food... =p The service here is still passable... Base on the location, it is quite value for $$... The place is clean but the food standard is still not really good... =x

Visit to the temple up the mountain (near Genting highlands)

This is not the first time I came to this temple... This temple is located on the mountain towards Genting Highlands... The weather here is cooling but not cold enough...

No entrance fee is required to visit this temple... As far as I know, the only temple I have been that is required to pay is in Thailand... There are still shops selling offerings and some necklace... I just had my breakfast in a dim sum restaurant (Genting)... I didn't know that this temple have got a vegetarian restaurant... I might want to try their vegetarian restaurant during my next visit... =p
