2012 Day 2 in Taiwan (Taipei)

Day 2:
The weather suddenly went down on the 2nd day. It was really cold and we decided to buy a hat and gloves for ourselves... ^-^ We had Shabu Shabu buffet for our lunch on that day... To be frank, this is the first time I had Shabu Shabu... The pot is very shallow... The pork is very fresh and the price is reasonable...

Sky Lantern

I do not have the chance to fly a "sky lantern" as somehow it is illegal to do so in Singapore. I get to know that sky lantern is very common in Taiwan, Wufen. That place is quite accessible via public transport. We were given a calligraphy brush to write our wishes on the paper lantern... Different colour represents different aspects in life...

Directions:
From Taipei, get to Ruifang railway station.
Then switch to railway train which runs the branch line Pingxi scenic route.
Alight @ Shifen, Pingxi stops

From Taipei Train Station, we took "Zhi Qiang Line" to Rui Fang Station... We didn't manage to get the tickets with seat allocation...

Here comes the train...

We are at Ruifang Station, waiting for transfer...
